This is a vintage FIRE KING JADEITE Mid Century Modern Tear Drop Shaped Bowl. It is absolutely beautiful! 6 1/2″ from the tip of the tear drop to the back, 3″ tall and 5 across the middle. For sale is an elegant vintage Italian chandelier c1950. Featuring Venetian glass with bent arms and just dripping with light catching beaded swags and cut glass prisms. This chandelier has 8 arms with candle sleeves and fancy bobeches. In good “as found” condition, I’ve only given it a light cleaning. Some signs of age and a little wear can be seen in the photos. All of the crystal are present (possibly a few have been replaced), a couple of the small flower accent pieces have been lost with age though. One glass piece that covers the arms is partially lose and will need a new wire (see photos). No breaks, cracks, or chips are present. The wiring and sockets are original to the era and may need updating. The fixture itself measures 13″ tall x 21″ wide and the chain adds another 9. Ceiling cap not included, but you can easily pick one up at any lighting store. Thanks for looking, see my store for more great antique lighting! Offered is a really unusual vintage lamp, when I first acquired it I though it was a drip pottery but after closer examination It is reversed paint on inside of glass. It is has a absolutely unique design and super colors for mid-century, MCM or Retro. Its center is the large round clear glass ball shape with a flat mushroom top and all the painting is inside, It has casted metal base and neck, the neck has 4 arms that have tiny holes in ends for holding crystals if desired, All the metals including socket have age associated wear, tarnish and ageing.
