JunVtg Mid Century Modern MCM Satellite Atomic Lamp Sputnik Clear Glass
Great looking an as found original. NO clip bulb shade but that’s and easy fix. This needs a good cleaning but NO damage issues or signs of abuse other that bottom of a cupboard gunk. Works; missing one of the plastic switch covers (the tang is there but not the cover). Cord seems good but most likely needs to be replaced. The balls are clear glass that are threaded on the tines. This piece was most likely produced by the quality Finnish makers, iittala. This exceptionally impressive piece has a perfectly balanced sculptural form and a wonderfully appealing nature inspired bark-like texture. Light reflects spectacularly off the rugged textured surface further enhancing the amazing sparkle of the quality ice-like glass. The exquisite sparkle and amazing clarity of this quality piece is literally breath taking. This vase has a sleekly curved bulbous shaped body leading to a tall cylindrical neck and gently flared top rim. This piece has a lovely ring when tapped. Like all iconic pieces of quality Mid Century Scandinavian design, this exquisite example remains just as appealing today as when it was first designed. For sale a pair of Mid-Century Modernist wall lights designed by Oscar Torlasco for Stilkronen, Italy circa 1950s. The lights are in good vintage condition and have patina commensurate with 60+ years of age. The glass lens-like diffusers are in perfect undamaged condition. Vintage unmarked Empoli Italian glass decanter genie bottle and stopper. The glass is a beautiful blue/purple/violet color depending on the lighting and has a cool wave pattern. Bottle measures 15 3/8″ tall, total with stopper on is 22 1/2″. Very good vintage condition. No problems noted except a little dusty. Has typical mold marks and some small bubbles.
