1962 Seattle World’s Fair Century 21 Space Needle Champagne Glass by Bryce Glass – specially designed for the grand opening and used in the restaurant bar lounge. This listing features a vintage 1962 Seattle World’s fair space needle “Champagne Glass”. As shown on page 297 of the Becker/Stein book, “The Future Remembered”, these crystal champagne glasses with space needle stems were used at the opening event and in the original bar lounge at the top. The glass is approx 6-1/2″ tall, with a bowl diameter of approx 3 1/2″. The bowl and base are clear, while the space needle stem is yellow. Had a set of 10. These are my LAST 4. 3 have a single tiny manufacturing bubble as shown in last 5 photos. One Stem with very small bubble also has small scratch. One Stem has bubble and small fleabite in top rim.
