Vintage Culver Highball Glasses Culver Antigua 1950’s. 4 glasses 8 glasses available (2 sets). Hard to find Culver Highball glasses. Antigua pattern with a band of 22k gold crackle peek-a-boo ovals at the base, as well as a gold band around the top rim. Each glass is signed Culver. A great addition to your home bar! Culver Glass Company – Lavish and Opulent Cocktailware of the 1940’s – 1960’s. In the late 1950’s, Culver Ltd started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. The super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver glass from the 1940’s through the’50s are signed with a script Culver. The Culver mark changed to block lettering in the late 1960’s through the 1970’s. Culver glass after the 1970s are typically unmarked today because the company changed to paper labels attached to the glass. Many of these labels have disappeared from use. These glasses are signed in script, 1950’s. Glasses are in excellent condition with no chips and very little wear on the gold. 22k gold is in excellent condition.
