A pair of Mid century Circa 1950s Alfredo Barbini for Salviati & C. Cranberry or red encased in blue sommerso glass, applied clear glass combs and beaks decorated in gold leaf as well as applied green glass eyes “Birds of Paradise”. Both birds sit on crystal clear glass bases and are in excellent vintage condition free of any cracks, chips, or repairs. One of the birds tail feathers has some rough spots on it and the bases have the usual light scratches which are typical for their age and weight. Please see my pictures as they are a part of my description. The tallest of the birds is 12-1/2″ Tall x 6″ Wide x 5″ Deep and the other is 12-1/4″ Tall x 6″ Wide x 5″ Deep.
