DecPaolo Venini Pink Murano Glass Teardrop Wall Lights, 1960’s
A beautiful and striking pair of vintage Paolo Venini 1960s Italian Murano wall lights. The pieces have a gold plated frame with pink Murano teardrop crystals. There are thirteen glass glass teardrops suspended from gold plated stems on each fitting. One B15 bulb sits under the brass canopy at the bottom of the light allowing the light to shine through each droplet. I have carefully restored the lights to their former glory fitting them with new components and flex, it has been tested for safety, complete and ready to installed by your electrician. Each crystal droplet measures 16cm. All lights must be fitted by a qualified electrician. All electrical components conform to all current UK/EU Legislation. Refurbished and rewired with current UK and EU fittings, the Murano crystal droplets are damage free, frame is in excellent is in good condition. Paolo Venini inciso Italian Art Glass 8-1/4 inch tall Mid-Century Modern vase
It is done using the inciso technique applied to the surface using a grinding wheel, leaving the surface feeling slightly rough. The glass has a green color with a yellow glow at the bottom. It measures just over 8 inches tall, 4-1/4 inches in diameter at the top and 2-1/4 inches in diameter at the base. It is in excellent condition with only one very tiny nick on the rim that is hard to see with the naked eye. There is no acid etched mark that I can see. It probably had a paper label at one point. The polished bottom does show signs of use from years of being on a shelf. There are no cracks, water marks, scratches or repairs. Truly worthy of any Italian Art Glass collection.
