This fabulous piece has a gorgeous clean lined modernist shape and a striking vibrant purple colour encased within the clear glass form. The glass has been expertly formed into a wonderfully long, sleek shape, with elegantly curved fingers to the tips of the narrower sides. Exquisite horizontal ribs to the underside of the bowl travel from the base to the tip of each finger, reflecting the light spectacularly throughout the form. The exquisite encased vibrant purple colour radiates throughout the form, becoming electrified with a magical intensity as it reflects off the gorgeous curves and thick ribs of the glass. The thick glass acts like lens, magnificently magnifying and distorting the light and colour encased within. This stunning piece looks breath takingly beautiful with light passing through the form, casting vibrant shadows and reflections and beautifully intensifying the exquisite radiant purple colour. This fabulous piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are a few exceptionally light surface scratches, noticeable only on extremely close examination in bright raking light, but mentioned for complete accuracy.
