NovBaby Blue 60s Handmade Signed Cocktail Glasses Set of 5 / Mid-Century Modern
Baby blue, handmade cocktail glasses with gold symbol. All are signed at the bottom from 1963. Very unique, I couldn’t find any cups that looked similar online. The shortest cup is 3.5″ tall, the two in the middle are 4.5″ tall and the tallest two are 5 tall. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.

AprKaj Franck, pair of 1960’s rare valuable handmade art glass goblet Nuutajarvi
Designer Kaj Franck, Nuutajärvi Finland. Pair of “Pokaali” art glass goblets from 1960’s. Is this the most beautiful goblet ever produced? In my opinion, yes. Art glass with a fuction. You can use these to enjoy your favorite drink or use them as an interior design objects. The decision is yours. Rare collector item as this version was never in full production but only produced as a gift for Wärtsilä’s sub-division employers. The cup is clear glass. It’s stem is made of full glass pieces of blue and clear glass and the stand is ametyst (alexandrite) glass meaning it changes it’s color depending on the lighting. Also the way colors reflect through the clear parts in different light make them change colors. In my photos the clear glass above the blue part seems to be brownish but it’s actually clear glass with tint of color and lots of reflections. In good vintage condition with only minimal signs of use. No chips, no cracks and no repairs. I was really happy when I saw these glasses. I’m sure you will be also. This series was never signed. There might be small traces of dirt or fingerprints. Wash glasses before use. I advice to wash by hand not in the machine. If the calculator shows you double postal please send me a message. AprTapio Wirkkala, set of six Captain’s whiskey glass, handmade tumbler Iittala 60s
Captain’s Table – glassware (Kapteenin Pöytä) was designed 1963 by Tapio Wirkkala and manufactured by Iittala glass factory. The bottom is matted so it doesn’t slide. Heavy wide bottom helps it not to tip over. Also there is a small pump in the bottom to place it over something or hold your finger there. Stands 6.5 cm (2’25”) tall, diameter 7 cm (2’75”) Holds approx. 15 cl (5 Oz). Glasses are in great vintage condition. No chips missing, no cracks or deep scratches. Vintage & rare NALCO # 17 DA50-24145, mid-20th century glasses, HANDMADE USA. Vintage & Rare, NALCO # 17 DA50-24145 Mad Men style, et cetera mid-20. Century full tortosishell frame glasses, which remain in very very good to excellent (used) condition. Here are some important details (please see images, as well). NALCO # 17 DA displayed on the inside of the left temple arm. 145 HANDMADE USA displayed on the inside of the right temple arm. 50-24 (lens-bridge) displayed inside frame, at upper-left (near left hinge). Marquise-oval meatl accents displayed outside both frame corners, at upper outer hinge regions. Century Mad Men, rectangular, et cetera style full tortoisshell acetate frame, with single bridge & Wayfarer style full temple arms that are metal rod reinforced. Hinges are heavy duty metal type, designed for proper, effective, function and durability. Nose pads are integrally molded with frame, to promote a comfortable, yet secure, fit. Frame size is listed as: 50 (eye) 24 (bridge) 145 (temple) , and the following measurements may prove helpful to further determine fit. 5 5/8 = 144mm approx. Distance straight across frame (at widest, outside of temple arms). 5 7/16 = 138mm approx. Length of arms from frame outside at hinges to end of arm at ear. 1 13/16 = 46mm approx.
