Hand blown Scandinavian quality glassware: Marski -series from Tapio Wirkkala, designed in 1960’s and was manufactured in Iittala glass factory, Finland. I have total of two sets so you can choose the amount of sets (6 glasses) from the quantity menu. Glasses stand 11 cm tall (4’25) with a diameter of 7 cm (2’75). 25 cm (8 Oz). Glasses are in normal used condition. There might be small signs of use such as small surface scratches but no chips missing or cracks and the overall condition is good in all glasses. Captain’s Table – glassware (Kapteenin Pöytä) was designed 1963 by Tapio Wirkkala and manufactured by Iittala glass factory. The bottom is matted so it doesn’t slide. Heavy wide bottom helps it not to tip over. Also there is a small pump in the bottom to place it over something or hold your finger there. Stands 6.5 cm (2’25”) tall, diameter 7 cm (2’75”) Holds approx. 15 cl (5 Oz). Glasses are in great vintage condition. No chips missing, no cracks or deep scratches. OctExcellent Mid-Century Modern signed Tapio Wirkkala Ittala Glass Vase
This Mid-Century Modern art vase is in excellent condition. This is a vintage crystal bud vase with gently spiraling etched vertical lines that accent it’s unique bulb shape. It is 4 3/4″ tall and 3″ wide and is etch signed “Tapio Wirkkala Ittala” on the base. It is in excellent to mint condition, clean and beautiful. There is a little fold line at the mouth of the vase where the glass overlaps (you can see it in the first picture). It has a small flat bubble in the fold and is part of the hand crafting. A really fine piece for a Mid-Century Modern or Scandinavian art glass collection. Thanks for looking and good luck with your collecting. AprVintage Mid Century Modern Tapio Wirkkala Arcadia Ice Glass Vase
For sale is a very rare arcadia vase designed by Finnish master Tapio Wirkkala. It is about 5 ½ tall and about 5 1/2 at its widest and is very heavy. It is in excellent condition but does have one issue to report: there is a chip on one of the pillars that is about 1/2 long. Please look at the photos as I have tried to capture this issue. It is probably the most beautiful and unique of all the vases he designed during his prolific career. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
